City Cat Cruise and Dinner Report

Campbell, Alicia and Jonathon, (Campbell's daughter and son-in-law) and Michele all made their own way via different City Cats to Oxford Street, Bulimba. Leon, on finding out the new parking regs at UQ, decided to drive directly to Bulimba.

Finally we all meet up at Oxford Street and sauntered towards the bright lights of the picture theatre, nearby restaurants and cafes. We perused the street, looking each menu up and down, and sometimes sideways, searching for the right combination of tasty, yet not too expensive, non-meat and meat dishes to satisfy all present.

We eventually settled on the Thai Pochana Cafe. A quick trip to the bottle-shop next door by the hunting and gathering women to seek out suitable beverages and we were set for dinner! The meals were generous and tasty, even leaving enough for a doggy-bag for some! One of the waiters kindly took a group photo, and Leon played with a borrowed digital camera.

Eventually we sent Leon on his way and then adjourned to Campbell's place for supper.
